This is the most effective therapy for eliminating pain and correcting posture ever seen spanning over Whyte’s 20 year existence in the fitness industry!


Injuries cause pain, poor posture and wear out joints. Communication between your brain and muscles is the focus of this therapy. So, when a muscle is too weak to stabilize a joint, the brain tells other muscles (not intended for the job) around that joint to tighten up in order to keep that joint safe and tells the weak muscles to turn ‘off’. This creates an immediate imbalance, causing pain, posture deviation, gait (walking) pattern and can/will eventually lead to severe pain and joint damage/ wear. Muscle Activation Therapy identifies the weak muscles and re- engages them so the joint function is correct and pain free.

This therapy is done on Site at Whyte Fitness by an accredited MAT therapist, on a massage table, fully clothed and by manual (hand) activation of specific muscle insertion points. Sessions are 60 minutes in length and are $75+tx
